EDWARD LOYAL FIELD

Landscape painter, illustrator and etcher Edward Loyal Field was born in Illinois in 1856. He studied at the Académie Julian and with Carolus-Duran, both in Paris. He exhibited at the Paris Salon, the NAD, the Boston AC, PAFA, and the Corcoran Gallery. He died in 1914.
