FREDERIC RONDEL
1826-1892Frederic Rondel is best remembered as a teacher of Winslow Homer in New York City, 1861.
He was active in the Boston area between 1855-57, in South Malden, Massachusetts in 1858, in New York City in 1859-61, in Europe in 1862, and returned to New York in 1868.
His exhibitions include the National Academy of Design, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and the Boston Athenaeum, all between 1855 and 1870.
