FREDERICK W. GLOVER
19th-20th CenturyPortrait and landscape painter Frederick W. Glover was born in New York City. He studied at the Académie Julian in Paris from 1895 to 1896. His work was exhibited at the Paris Salon of 1897 and 1898. The artist collaborated on a painting of Clermont Estate in Tivoli, New York with architectural artist and illustrator Vernon Howe Bailey. Glover’s works are among the collections of the New York Historical Society, New York City and the University of New Hampshire, Durham.
