GEORGE A. HAYS
1854-1934Self-taught landscape painter George Arthur Hays was born in Greenville, New Hampshire in 1854.
He specialized in painting landscapes with cattle, and he exhibited at the Providence Art Club and the Society of Independent Artists. He was a member of the Providence Art Club; the Copley Society; the Society of Independent Artists; and the Providence Watercolor Club.
He lived in Providence, Rhode Island, and he died there in 1934.
