GERTRUDE BEALS BOURNE
1897-1962Gertrude Beals Bourne was born in Boston in 1897 and studied with Henry B. Snell and Henry W. Rice. She traveled extensively, painting in New England, Europe, and Bermuda. After 1904, she became known for her colorful watercolors of New England floral gardens. She exhibited in Boston, New York City, and Baltimore. She died in 1962.
