GLADYS THAYER

Daughter and student of painter Abbott Thayer, Gladys Thayer was born in Woodstock, Connecticut in 1887. Her oil and pastel portraits, flowers, and landscapes have been exhibited at the Copley Gallery and the Vose Gallery, both in Boston, in 1906 and 1924, respectively. She has also exhibited at Grand Central Galleries in New York City in 1906 and 1935, and at the Knoedler Gallery, also in New York, in 1919.
