JOHN PETERSEN

John E.C. Petersen was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1839. In 1865, he opened a studio in Boston and was listed there in directories between 1866 and 1873. His illustrations appeared in Harper’s Weekly in 1868. He exhibited at the Boston Art Club in 1887. He died in 1874.
