STACY TOLMAN
1860-1935Painter and teacher Stacy Tolman was born in Concord, MA, in 1860. He studied with Otto Grundman in Boston and with Boulanger and Lefebvre at the Académie Julian in Paris. In the early 1900s, he traveled throughout Europe with Sydney Burleigh, and later had a Providence studio in Burleigh’s “Fleur de Lys” building. He exhibited at the Paris Salon, the Pennsylvania Academy, and the Boston Art Club. He died in 1935.
