VICTOR DUBREUIL

Still life and portrait painter Victor Dubreuil was active in New York City from 1880 to 1910. Little is known of his biography. His favorite subject was money, which he depicted as bills overflowing in barrels, stacks of coins, single dollar bills, and bank robbers stealing money. His work hangs at the Shelbourne Museum in Vermont.
