Charles Courtney Curran (1861-1942)
Charles Courtney Curran was born in Kentucky and studied at the Cincinnati School of Design, the Academie Julien, the Art Students League, and the National Academy of Design, where he was also a member and instructor. He worked primarily in New York City and in Cragsmoor, New York, where he was a teacher and leading member of the Cragsmoor Art Colony.
