George A. Swift (1865-1945)
George Swift was born in 1865 in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. He studied at the Swain Free School of Design, as well as architecture in Boston. He exhibited at the New Bedford Art Club in 1916, and his art can currently be seen at the Kendall Whaling Museum in Sharon, Massachusetts and the Old Dartmouth Historical Society. Swift died in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts in 1945.
